We are now the 1st of June and weather is fine. What a wonderful day to start building you own list. Do you know that some marketers that do not have that much traffic are making thousands every month just because they took the time to build a list.

I’m sure that you read: ”The Money Is In The List”. It’s true. OK, it is not the only way to maker money, but it is one of the best. I’ve read, few weeks ago, about a guy that had a list of over 200,000 subscribers.

A new product was available in his niche and the guy sent only one email. Within 7 days he made nearly $100K in profit. WOW, that’s a lot of money in just a week. You will tell me that he had an incredible list and that’s true, but what happened here is he made the money with ONE email.

Now that you know the importance of a list, let’s see how you could build your very own list. Note that you won’t get thousands of subscribers in a day or two. It will take time, patience my friend, patience.

First you need an auto-responder, like Awaber (the best, it offers the first month at $1 only, $19/month there after). Once a member, log in and create a new web form (choose ”web form” in the top menu) and follow the steps (easy).

Awaber give’s you the ability to create nice subscribe form like the at the top right. The technique is to offer a free e-book, a free newsletter or a free marking course, something like that. It needs to be free. With an auto-responder, you can send already written email every day, 3 days, once a week, etc.

When the auto-responder is set up, all you have to do is send information on deals, new products etc. You can send them emails on a regular basis. That’s the easiest way to start building your list.

There is something else you can do: you can create a splash page where you offer your free newsletter.
