Selection of forums:

1- To find forums where you can advertise, start by a search. It is important that you find forums related to your niche.

2- After find 2 or 3 forums (start with one to practice and do not get invested in too many at the time), verified if there is enough members. You can reject too small forum for the moment, but keep an eye, later they might be big enough.

3- Is the forum active. Check the latest posts. If too old, it means nobody is posting and automatically it means that no one is reading.

4- Is it a private or public forum? Choose only public forum. People looking for info about a product in your niche might read the posts about that product without becoming a member.

5- Very important, does the forum allow signature with a promotional link? If not, stay away. You want to send people to your site. If you can’t put a promotional link, you can’t send potential buyers.
