Good day all!

Driving traffic to your blog is the hardest part. If you read that it was easy to send people to your site or blog, forget it, it is false. There are many ways to bring traffic to your site. What is also important is to bring ”targeted” traffic. It means those who come to your site have already an interest in your products to learn more or to buy.

The fastest way to drive targeted traffic is using Pay Per Click (PPC). The name says it, you pay for the advertising only when someone physically click on your ad. Basically, you create a small ad, a title, subtitle and a short, very short definition about your product. Just enough to make the surfer click the link.

Every time a surfer click, you are charged an amount of money. It can start at $0.05 up to $45 per click. The problem with PPC, is that popular keywords are very, astronomically expensive. If you take the word ”money” or ”weight”, these words are quite in demand and competition is fierce.

Having a good ad is mostly important, but what is even more important is your landing page (the page where you send the surfer). It must reflect what was written in the ad. If not, you pay for the click and you are sure you’re not gone a make money.

Write multiple ad and ask people you know which one they prefer. Make a selection of your 3, 4 best ad and bid on them. In reality, you will bid on keywords. Make a list of all the keyword you can find than go to https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal, add and test your keywords. Google will give you a list of keywords that are more or less related to your niche.

There are risks using PPC, if your ad is clicked, it is not a guarantee of sales. Usually, if someone is not making any sales and have tons of click, the ad is good, the landing page has to be changed. Before using PPC, it is strongly suggested that you read about it: http://www.google.com/adwords/tutorial.html.
